At the beginning of the year 2019, Arabian MEP Contracting has secured the contract to carry out full Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) works for Al Baker Hotel Tower 1 & 2 at West Bay area, Doha, Qatar.
3B+G+M+52 levels Tower 1 comprises 396 rooms and has Gross Floor Area of 54,876 Sq.m. 3B+G+M+49 levels Tower 2 comprises 430 rooms and has Gross Floor Area of 63,142 sq.m. The Towers were initially designed and constructed as office buildings and will be converted to 5-star Business Hotel in the case of Tower 1 and 5-star High-end Luxury Hotel for the Tower 2. The new accommodation includes parking, hotel suites, retail, spa and associated restaurants/clubs/bar areas.
Under the terms of the contract, Arabian MEP will carry out complete Electro-Mechanical works including HVAC works, plumbing, drainage, fire protection, firefighting, Diesel Generators, HV switch gears, Transformers, MV panels, capacitor banks, related cabling and containment of ELV works.
The owner/Developer of the project is M/s AL-Baker Investments. The consultant on the project is KEO International and the Contractor is Redco Construction-Almana.
